Cabins and Camping

Take a getaway to Cavitt’s Creek Park! The park features both primitive tent camping sites and full service RV sites with several handicap accessible bath houses available for use. Camping reservations are taken spring through fall. Cabins are also available for rent year-round. 

Lake Jack Witten

Located within Cavitt’s Creek Park, Lake Witten is a beautiful attraction in our county. This 54 acre lake is the perfect summertime destination. Rent kayaks or paddle boats for a day of fun and relaxation for the whole family. Lake Witten is also a great destination for fishing enthusiasts – cast a line for stocked bass or trout. 

Other Recreation

Cavitt’s Creek Park offers other recreational opportunities for locals and visitors alike. Enjoy a family picnic at one of the park’s many shelters with a playground nearby for kids. Hiking is also a big activity, with trails winding through the park’s 300 acres and along Lake Witten.
