Business Spotlight: Bad Axery

The Bad Axery is the perfect pitstop for a little fun! Whether you are looking for an awesome spot for date night or looking to have fun with the whole family, the Bad Axery has something for everyone!

Opened in 2021, the Bad Axery is located in downtown Richlands, next to the Tazewell County Mercantile. The popularity of ax throwing has really taken off over the past few years, and luckily for Tazewell County residents and visitors alike, we have an excellent place to try our hand at it! 

Bad Axery features two target options: a project target with fun games or the standard World Axe Throwing League targets. 

When you are done throwing axes, head over to the arcade room to try your hand at a few games, play a game of pool or even check out the batting cages! Top off your visit with one of the Bad Axery’s delicious pizza or custom desserts and cotton candy. 

The Bad Axery is open to the public Thursday through Sunday, and they also offer private events — which is a great option for your next birthday party or corporate outing!
